Moments for Mums: Hope - Part 2Sample

Mothers are often good at worrying. While most of us don’t worry about finding food, water or shelter, we still worry. We worry if our kids are eating enough veggies, reaching milestones, making friends or struggling academically.
In Matthew 6:33, Jesus is talking about worry. He urges us to trust in God when we are tempted to worry about our daily needs. We are urged to put God first and trust in Him to meet these needs.
Things will go wrong in life, it’s a fact. At times money will be tight, kids sick, or relationships strained. God’s word is here to encourage us and guide our choices. Our lives and circumstances change, but God never does—he is solid.
God is there with us in those difficult moments of life. Lean into him, and trust in His plan for you.
Question:
What worry are you struggling with at the moment?
Prayer:
God, please help me when I struggle with worry. Help me to give these worries to you, to see solutions and answers, and not feel panicked and overwhelmed. Thank you that you are in control. Amen
