At what point do you call the doctor? It’s not always easy to judge, but it’s a good idea not to leave it too long, especially if it’s serious. After all, you don’t want to be too late...

Perhaps the doctor will send the patient off to the hospital, or simply prescribe rest, along with medication. But sometimes it may be that there is nothing that can be done and it’s only a matter of time.

It was definitely very serious, if not critical, at the Roman officer’s house in Capernaum.

Quick! Jesus must come now! He would be able to do something when all else had failed.

One of the most frequently prayed prayers is just one word: ‘Help!’ The Roman officer knew that Jesus would help. And, of course, he did. Is there anything you need to ask Jesus for help with? Do it. Now!
