Faith Over Perfection

DAY 13 OF 42

What did we learn this week?

Reflection Questions:

1. In what areas of your life do you tend to lean on your own understanding or own method of deliverance? Do you believe God is able to provide what you need? Do you believe the Lord has a good plan for your life in this area?

2. What did it mean to Hagar to know that God saw her? Do you believe that God also sees you? Why or why not?

3. Do you find it difficult to believe that you are saved through faith alone? In what ways do you try to earn your salvation by works?

4. What impossible thing are you hoping God will do for you? How can you trust Him even when it seems like He isn’t working?

5. Do you find it challenging to trust God’s justice? What aspects of God’s character can you cling to when you struggle with God’s treatment of the wicked or the righteous?

About this Plan

Faith Over Perfection

When we waiver in our understanding of what God asks of us, we can study the lives of God’s people and look to their examples. This study shows the lives of Abram and Isaac. God gave them both a great promise, but they had moments when their actions did not align with their faith. God credited Abraham as righteous long before He required anything but faith from him.
