Aleluya (God Be Praised) 

In Hebrew, the word means "to praise joyously". The beauty of this word is that you can feel the joy of the Lord when this word is proclaimed in the atmosphere. When “We unite with the angels to sing hallelujah”  the atmosphere shifts no matter what tribes or other languages.  The presence of God brings joy and unity which transcends all that may stand in front of us.

Revelation 19:1 says, After this, I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments. In this verse we see John explaining what was happening in the heavens when God defeated Babylon. Multitudes in the heavens were shouting, “Hallelujah” to honor the salvation, glory, and power that belong to Him, just like the verse stated. He is so worthy of every ounce of our praise. 

Can you ask God at this moment to remind you of a moment that he demonstrated his power by defeating the battle that was before you? As that memory comes to the forefront of your mind, can I challenge you to shout, “Hallelujah”. Even if you find yourself in the car, a parking lot, or your kitchen can you lift up joyful praise? There is always a reason to raise our hallelujah. 

Prayer:

We pray that as you listen to this song the joy of the Lord would fill you, and you would remember how good God has been to you throughout your life. We pray that you raise a “Hallelujah” with the multitudes in heaven more often. Remembering he’s already won the battle!
