We Were Sexual Before We Were SinfulSample

Restoration
Our story doesn’t end with Redemption. There is one more crucial part of the story that is talked about throughout the scriptures: Restoration. As Luke recalls in the book of Acts, “Heaven must welcome Him until the times of the restoration of all things.” Where in Genesis we started in a garden, in Revelation, we are established in a city. God is making all things new, and the kingdom of God is woven all throughout this four-part story.
This kingdom that God is establishing is our hope and mission to live in a healthy relationship with God, our community, and ourselves. Our sexuality. Our desires. The way we relate to one another. The purpose of sex is realized through the established Kingdom of God. There will be sexuality without shame. Forgiveness has been administered towards any transgression through the work of Jesus.
As we conclude this four-part story, the next two days will dive deeper into the fact that we were sexual before we were sinful.
About this Plan

You have been written into a wonderful story. God’s story is one that includes Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration. However, our conversations surrounding sex often focus on the fall - in reality, we were sexual before we were sinful! In this plan, we'll look at what scripture says about God's creation and design for sex.
