[Revelation: The Comeback] Our Final Exam Sample
It’s Time to Test Ourselves!
Can we say that it does not matter whether we continue sinning, because God’s grace is superabundant? Romans 6 tells us that such an attitude is unacceptable and exhorts us to stop serving sin.
The best way to prepare for the final exam is not to give ourselves permission to lie, use foul language, or get angry easily and frequently or to fail in all those areas that we continually neglect. We must make a much greater effort not to take advantage of the grace with which God has forgiven us. A second thing we can do is to ask God to grant us the spirit of fear of God, which will help us not to take our shortcomings and failures so lightly. We can also keep a record of how many times we lie each week or month to evaluate ourselves. In fact, the Bible asks us to examine ourselves, to test ourselves. If we do not evaluate ourselves, we may be failing this final exam. Develop the habit of examining yourself.
Throughout the centuries, God has granted constant and dedicated mercies to his people, both men and women. A person may say that all the good things that he or she does for God and others will cover and compensate for his or her shortcomings, but this is like trying to cover the sun with a finger; good works cannot cover such a great mass.
The Apostle Paul tells us that the day of the coming of the Lord Jesus is near. Darkness has advanced over the world and has increasingly taken over human minds and hearts. We must, now more than ever, prepare ourselves for the soon coming of the Lord Jesus. The best way to do this is to keep examining ourselves. This self-assessment will help us to identify if we are taking advantage of God’s grace to build with gold, silver, or precious stones. I believe that these minerals refer to the intentions of our heart, those that are so pure that they can resist any heat or test.
Remember: you can resist the fire of the final exam if what you have done with and in your life, has been built upon pure intentions resulting from a humble heart.
I invite you to keep a journal of your faults and flaws to stay alert and focused on your purification. This journal will become your best preparation for your final exam.

About this Plan
In Revelation 20:12 ̶ 13 we learn about the people at the Great White Throne, where small and great will inevitably stand before God in the final judgment. Only the dead will take part in this judgment. Believers will also have to face judgment and appear before the judgment seat of Christ; He will then reward each person according to what he or she has done.
