Walk Through The Bible 365 - JulySample
God Speaks
We take for granted that communication with one another through speech is something normal and expected. This is part of everyday life as we speak to one another. But the understanding that God speaks to us is something that most people, first, do not believe, and, second, even if they do, few experience. But the Bible tells us that God does speak to us and very clearly, and He speaks to us through His Son, Jesus. Hearing the words of Jesus is hearing the words of God, and Jesus, in turn, speaks to us through His word, the Bible. Let us open our spiritual ears to hear God speak through His Son and His Word.
Prayer: Lord God, thank you for speaking to us though your Son, Jesus, and through your Word, the Bible. Let us always keep in mind that the Bible is your Word to us and let us therefore give Bible study and reading the Bible the importance it deserves. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

About this Plan
How do we feed ourselves with the Word of God? By reading through the Bible. But how do we grasp all the Bible has to offer in an easy and enjoyable way? This reading plan spans one year with daily bite-sized chunks of devotions and scripture to help you stay focused, at a comfortable pace and without overwhelming yourself. As you begin your walk through the Bible, you'll start to hear, read, study, memorize, meditate, and apply God's word in your life.
