New Testament in a Year: DecemberSample

READ
Matthew 5:38-6:15
REFLECT
What do you think the Spirit is trying to teach or reveal to you in this reading?
How might this shape your identity as a follower of Jesus and the person God designed you to be? How might it change the world around you?
Jesus says, "Love your neighbor and your enemy." The world says love your neighbor and hate your enemy. How are followers of Jesus supposed to follow His teaching? How could you do this?
ENGAGE
Pray - Think of a person, group, or situation that’s bothering you. Pray for them today. Love them today. If needed, forgive them today.
