Walk Through The Bible 365 - AugustSample
What About The Wicked?
When you finished reading today’s three passages, did you notice Job’s inquiry is correlated to David’s writing in Psalms? Job asks, "Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?" Job describes the ways of the wicked and states that God is aware of their evil ways and David finishes the searching of Job with finality. Our faith grows strong when we find comfort and truth from God’s Word. We have the same struggles as our biblical faithful witnesses and we can overcome by their testimonies!
Prayer: I am amazed, Lord, at Your Truth and Words today. They speak to my heart concerning the ways of evil and wicked people. I believe your Word encourages me to be faithful to You and stand firm in Your unfailing, unshakable love. I do this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
