TALK
When we feel brokenhearted, defeated, or crushed by circumstances or wrongs in the world, God is near and ready to help us. Over and over throughout history, we see examples of this from real people in the Bible. God invites us to rest when we’re weary. God promises to comfort us when we’re hurting. And when we’re anxious, upset, or just confused, God promises to give us peace. When we walk through difficult circumstances or experience hardships in our lives, we can remember that God is close to us and will give us what we need to get through it.
What struggle or difficulty are you walking through right now? Talk to a close friend, parent, or small group leader about it! Ask them to remind you of the fact that God is near to you and there to help as you go through it.
