Prayer For Understanding God’s Plan And Character
Once Abraham knew God was planning to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, he negotiated with God for Sodom. Abraham knew what kind of God he was serving. God is a just God. Abraham also knew God’s promise never fails. He negotiated with God for righteous people in Sodom. He would also want his nephew, Lot, and his family who live in Sodom to be delivered from God’s wrath.
Even Abraham did not ask God to save Lot, but God planned to send His angels to save Lot before God sent angels to see Abraham because God remembered Abraham (Genesis 19:29). As we pray more, we will not only know more of God’s plan, but also His nature, character and love, which is more than we asked for.
Prayer: Lord Father, thank you for your love and listening to our prayers. Holy Spirit, help us to hear from you and know your plan and your will. Help us to obey you and trust in you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

About this Plan

Moses prayed and pleaded with God in the wilderness to preserve his own name and character and not destroy Israel. As leaders, we must learn prayer covering and intercession for God's people. This 28-day reading plan will inspire you as you pray and intercede for others so that they truly have a revelation of God’s love.
