Have you ever bitten into a french fry expecting the great flavors to explode in your mouth, only to find that it isn’t salty? My youth leader once used this analogy with me, saying Christians are the salt. People notice when the salt is or isn’t there, just like people will notice that you treat people differently than most. The love that you show to others will not go unnoticed. This is how people will know we are followers of God! People are going to notice when you’re kind and when you care for others. One day, someone might even ask why you care so much and why you try to love everyone! Your actions matter, and people are going to see God through the way you show love to others.

Today, take two minutes to pray. Ask God to show you how to love others through your actions this week, and ask for help in showing the world more of who God is.
