Wait PatientlySample

Wait On The Lord.
“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” Psalm 27:14 KJV
Wait on the Lord. Surrender to His way of doing things. Wait on the Lord, and let Christ lead your heart. Patiently wait on Christ.
The Amplified Version expounds upon Psalm 27:14 AMPC in the following manner, “Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.” Be brave and of good courage; wait patiently on the Lord, and He shall strengthen your heart.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “wait” is ‘qāvâ’ (H6960), which means, “To look for, hope, expect.” Place your hope in Him, and expect that the Lord will hear you. Let your heart be stout and enduring; be strong in the Lord. Wait on the Lord.
The New Living Translation expounds upon Psalms 27:14 NLT, “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Be brave, and wait patiently on the Lord.
