Know God by NameSample

Jehovah-Shalom: The Lord, My Peace.
Found in the Book of Judges, today’s name of God is translated from Hebrew as “The Lord, my peace.”
Jehovah-Shalom: The Lord, my peace.
“God, when I feel anxious today, thank You for bringing me comfort. Thank You for Your peace that surpasses all knowledge and understanding. My stress can melt away because You have everything under control. Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace, and I invite Your peace into every relationship and area of my life. I believe You are the only One who can calm every storm.”
As you pray through today’s name of God:
- How did this name of God resonate with me?
- What is God teaching me?
- How can I be specific in prayer today?
After you reflect on these questions, bring everything to God in prayer.
