Esther
Esther eases her way into making a request of the king. She avoids letting the risk to her and her people cause her to act in a disrespectful way toward the king or Haman. In the meantime, Haman is continuing to plot and is planning to move quickly to execute Esther’s uncle.
There is a tendency to panic when the stakes are high. We say things we later regret or fail to act in ways that are completely honest. Esther can be a great example of patiently looking for the best way to move forward.
