The large crowd with Jesus were hungry and tired. Jesus, with compassion in his heart, wanted to feed them - but where was he to get food to feed such a large crowd - 4,000 men besides women and children. And someone offered Jesus what he had - 7 loaves and a few small fishes - totally inadequate to feed the crowd. But Jesus uses this offering to multiply the bread and fish and feed the whole crowd. Do not think that what you can offer to Jesus - your money, your time, your talents - is too small or inadequate. Jesus can use you and your talents to feed and bless multitudes.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you that you want to feed your people, spiritually, physically, and in every way. Lord, I give to you my money, my time, my abilities - use them to bless and feed your people. And thank you, Lord, that the little I can give, you will multiply and use to bless many. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
