“Do everything in love”

What does it mean to do things in love? I have found a way, and it is pretty simple. Whatever you do, ask yourself why you are doing it. What is your motivation behind it? Is it for yourself?

Are you doing things for your own benefit or for someone else? Do you want to make someone's day a better one or do you just want to feel better? Look at the motivation of your heart, and let your actions be that of love. And it’s good to look at how you treat yourself.

As it is written in Mark 12:30-31, love your neighbor as yourself. To love others well, you need to love yourself as well. How long would it take you to name yourself in a list of people you love?
