“Greater strength”

Hide and seek is a game we used to play when we were little. I think we still play it.—with God. This verse says that we should seek the Lord. It doesn’t say that we should hide nor that the Lord hides.

I think we tend to hide and forget what we are asked to do. The Lord sees us, seeks us, and knows where we are. If we want to find him, we must seek. Not in a way where we could never find him, but to look for his footprints.

To seek and find what He has done for us. To worship him, to reach out for him, and to shout out when we need him. The game hide and seek only works when both sides do their part. I am convinced that the Lord never hides.

We just don’t seek him. Or we hide from him. But when you hide, you will never find. Today, get out of your secret spot and seek the Lord. He won’t hide because he has already found you. Just open your eyes.
