“Lay it Down"

Yesterday we explored God’s goodness, greatness and compassion for us. In light of that fact, today we want to take all of our worries, fears, and anxieties to Him. Let’s lay them at His feet and unburden ourselves.

Every pain, every sin, every sickness and disease, every lie, every ounce of evil, every shame, guilt and regret was nailed to the cross. Jesus carried that burden for us. Let’s not try to pick it back up and carry it again. Our burden was nailed to the cross. Our debt has been paid. We are free in Him. Rest in that peace.

Today, think of Christ’s strength and love that overcomes our fears and anxieties. Reflect on His goodness, His death and resurrection, and His victory over sin, death, and evil. Meditate on this.
