Worship
We’ve probably all at some point been to a massive event where there’s been a lot of shouting and singing. Maybe a concert or a football match or something like that. There is so much noise and passion and excitement. People sing for their favorite teams or artists with their arms in the air.
Sometimes when we think of worship, it’s easy to just think of it as a Christian version of that. Singing, shouting, and dancing. Now, these are amazing ways that we can worship God, but worship is also a whole lot more than that…
Worshiping God often begins with singing, but it also means living our whole lives for Him. Everything we do in life, doing it to please him, to point others towards him, and to serve him - that is worship.
So why should we live our lives to worship God and not try to make ourselves look good? Well, it’s because God created us that way. The Bible says that we were created for His glory. He loves us so so deeply, and there is no one like Him. He lived a perfect life and died in the most painful way. He gave His everything for us, so how can we not give everything we have to Him?
Q: What are some ways (other than singing) that you can worship God today?
