WORSHIPING HOLY
God is Holy (Lev 11:44, 19:2, 20:7, 1 Pe 1:16). He is altogether separate in existence and in disclosure, He is unto Himself. Though He is involved in the cell division process of every living organism, He is still the King on the throne, whom no one can see and live (Ex 33:20), dwelling in unapproachable light (1 Tim 6:16). He is in an entirely different domain and He exists unto Himself. What man or the angels know about Him is only as much as He has revealed about Him. He is the mystery despite revelation and in not fully exhaustible in His disclosure by anyone else but Himself.
“Holy is the way God is. To be holy he does not conform to a standard. He is that standard. He is absolutely holy with an infinite, incomprehensible fullness of purity that is incapable of being other than it is. Because he is holy, all his attributes are holy; that is, whatever we think of as belonging to God must be thought of as holy.” - A.W. Tozer
“A holy life will make the deepest impression. Lighthouses blow no horns, they just shine.” - D. L. Moody
