First Thoughts | John OrtbergSample

Breathe
Today’s invitation is maybe the simplest I’ve issued yet. Ready for it?
Breathe.
That’s it. Breathe in and invite God to be with you in this moment. Breathe out fear. Breathe in hope without despair. Breathe in courage. Breathe out hurry.
Just breathe. Focus on your breath today. Remember who put it there.
-John Ortberg
Three questions as you focus on breathing in and out:
How can I be as present as possible in this moment?
How can I remember God’s faithfulness with every exhale?
How can I feel even more gratitude for the breath God put in my lungs today?
