Giving our Best helps others find Jesus

The end goal of our service, the hope of giving our best, is so much greater than I think we often realize. Paul lays out the end goal of our service so clearly in 1 Corinthians 10:31-33.

He starts out by addressing everything we should do through the lens of trying to bring glory to God. In short, Paul is saying that we should give our best in everything we do because we can glorify God through our service. However, the other layer to that is that through our service, we can point people to God. If we are working and serving to bring glory to God, we will draw people's attention to God.

How often do you serve with the mindset that you are helping to point them to God? Realizing that your service, you simply giving your best, could help someone find salvation in Jesus?

Knowing that we should be running to serve, we should be so excited to give our best, trusting that God will use our labor to bring countless more people into His family and eternity with Him.

As Jesus People, we give our best because we must BE the Church in the world, striving to point everyone to the hope and love that we have found in God.
