The Good LifeSample

Jesus called those who led with a heart of service and love “righteous.” What makes a person “righteous?” The Bible says, “‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:37-40). In this passage, the people had made God’s Kingdom a priority and didn’t even realize it. But that’s what serving others in love is—this beautiful reality. God has put the Holy Spirit inside of us, and our hearts light up when we love and serve others well in the way God wants us to. Our hearts know we’re doing more than giving money when we give. When we serve, something inside of us knows it’s meaningful. If we follow the little heart leads the Holy Spirit gives us, God will lead us to live the good life.
