A New Athlete

DAY 2 OF 3

Today we are going to focus on Proverbs 3:5. As athletes we must have trust instilled inside of us. The same way we trust our teammates and coaches should be the same output we do with God, but 100 times more.

God knows and understands everything we go through now and he knows what we will go through in the future. God wants the best possible outcome for us in our lives and we must trust in the path he takes us on because he knows what's best.

God is worthy of our trust. Having faith is having trust. God is faithful and good. Whatever your goals or plans may be as an athlete should be brought to God because his plans will never fail. There is nothing like the promises of God.

Reflection

In what ways can we continue to build our trust in God?

What are some things that you don’t fully put your trust in God towards?

Prayer

Lord, thank you for your faithfulness, goodness, and love. Thank you for having a plan set for my life. l know your plans bring purpose, peace, joy, wisdom, and abundance. On days when I become weak and my trust starts to fade, I ask that you give me strength and understanding so that I’m still able to receive the promises you have for my life. Amen.
