Fishermen, Simon Peter, James, and his brother John, became some of Jesus’ 12 disciples. The disciples followed Jesus and learned from Him every single day. His life and teaching gave the disciples an example to follow. Jesus taught them how to show God’s love and what life is like as part of God’s Kingdom. Now we can follow Jesus too and learn from His example as we read the Bible and allow the Holy Spirit to transform our lives. Jesus walked the earth, flesh and blood, and experienced life just like you and me. Jesus gives us an example to follow.
