We all have questions about why we were born and our purpose. We all have moments in our lives where we begin to wonder who we really are deep down at our core. Do we fit in with the people we want to fit in with? Do we like the music everyone else likes? Do we know what we want to do for a living? Maybe we know the answers to these questions, and maybe we don’t. No matter what, God can help clarify who we really are. The author of this Psalm tells us that God created our inmost being, which means the core of who we really are. God “knit” us together in our mothers’ wombs, which means God intentionally and uniquely created each of us. The best part is that God’s work is wonderful—that you, and all the unique aspects that make you, you, are adding value and wonder to the world.

Today, pay attention to how you feel in certain environments. When you feel out of place, pray and ask God to show you how wonderful you are.
