2 CorinthiansSample

The big idea in this chapter is that “these promises” - “I will be their God, and they will be my people,” and the fruit of this truth is to be a people set apart by a holy fear and reverence to the Lord, and taking correction that leads to salvation.
Paul has seemed harsh when talking with the Corinthians, but here in chapter 7, we see the payoff of sharing God’s truth in love, consistently and boldly. The Corinth church has been through a moment of sorrow towards the Lord in the realization of their sins and in God’s goodness has led them to repentance and salvation.

About this Plan

We are going through the book of 2 Corinthians together! We will be reading one chapter every week as we usually do, but this time we have also included devotions and other passages to read on certain days. We hope you will follow along with us as we deep dive into Paul's second letter to the church in Corinth and seek to see what we can learn from it today as we seek to follow Jesus together.
