2 CorinthiansSample

In addition to 2 Corinthians 9, we are also reading Psalm 112 today. This Psalm gives a really good example of what living a righteous life looks like. The Bible teaches us that as we show generosity we will find favor with God and those around us.
Paul quotes verse 9 of this Psalm but interestingly switches the meaning to not refer to a righteous person, but to God Himself. When we live in a generous way, we imitate the characteristics of God and trust that in return He will also abundantly supply our own needs.

About this Plan

We are going through the book of 2 Corinthians together! We will be reading one chapter every week as we usually do, but this time we have also included devotions and other passages to read on certain days. We hope you will follow along with us as we deep dive into Paul's second letter to the church in Corinth and seek to see what we can learn from it today as we seek to follow Jesus together.
