Going Deeper with God

Trauma or sickness can cause us to go deeper with God if we will turn to Him in troubled times. We can be revived with freedom and joy if we will cultivate our hearts for revival. Three things grow out of a healthy heart culture: inner healing of the mind, will, and emotions (which I call “heart healing”), spiritual healing that involves salvation and deliverance, and physical healing of the body. When we soak the soil of our hearts in Christ’s “healing rain,” it prepares us to be carriers of healing and wholeness.

Heart cultivation is a combination of removing weeds from the garden of our hearts and loosening the soil to improve the retention and penetration of God’s Word, His will, and His ways. It is breaking agreement with the enemy in our thoughts and actions and posturing our hearts to receive the seed of God’s Word, which will bear life-giving fruit.

Cultivating our hearts initiates a downpour of God’s refreshing presence, love, and power in every area of our lives. Seeking what only comes from Jesus, we turn away from religious rules or a rebellious heart and run into the waiting arms of our Father. Healing comes not only in our bodies but also in our souls and spirit. In newfound wholeness, we can then carry healing to others in desperate need.

God’s healing rain unlocks the supernatural through what I call the “seven keys to divine health.” We can all access these keys Jesus won for us through His blood poured out on the cross. Here are the hard-won seven keys and what you can unlock with them:

—The key of freedom gives you the authority to make good choices with your will.

—The key of connection opens the door to right standing with God.

—The key of health gives you victory over your physical infirmities.

—The key of prosperity brings you victory over mental torment and physical poverty.

—The key of influence gives you authority over every area of your life, home, and work.

—The key of purity gives you victory over your internal pain and suffering.

—The key of rest signifies that Jesus won back our eternal joy and healed us of our broken hearts.

Jesus wants to revive your heart, your home, and your community. Through His healing rain, He wants to bring wholeness to every area of your life and the lives of others!
