Let Your Light So ShineSample
Write The Vision.
“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:2 KJV
Write the vision and make it plain. Run with what God has placed in your heart. Execute upon the vision that He has given you. The vision that God has planted in your heart was assigned to you. He gave you the vision. He placed the dream inside of you on purpose. God does not make mistakes.
God wants you to shine and glorify Him through your gifts, talents, and abilities. Steward your gift. Steward your vision. Steward your assignment. Steward the dream that He has placed in you. Steward the platform. Steward the opportunity that He has set before you.
Proverbs 12:27 KJV declares, “The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: But the substance of a diligent man is precious.” The slothful chooses not to steward the opportunity that’s set before him.
The New Living Translation puts it this way, “Lazy people don’t even cook the game they catch, but the diligent make use of everything they find.” Lazy people hunt for the opportunity and then sit on the opportunity to “roast”. In other words, the slothful partially complete assignments.
Roast every aspect of the assignment that’s before you. Complete every aspect of the opportunity that’s presented before you. Choose to complete your assignment. May your light shine through your consistent execution. May your light shine through your diligence. May your light shine through your work ethic.
Proverbs 12:24 NIV declares, “Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.” The New Living Translation expounds upon Proverbs 13:4 NLT in the following manner, “Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.” Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.”
The diligent will rule and those who are diligent will shine before men. Proverbs 22:29 KJV declares, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; He shall not stand before mean men.”
The diligent will dominate. The lazy desires much but gets little. God wants your gift to shine. God wants you to shine. God wants you to flourish. It’s time to shine.
