Secrets of a Successful Servant of GodSample

Secrets of a Successful Servant of God

DAY 1 OF 4

A Price of Faith

Everyone strives to serve God effectively. But if we want to excel, we must be willing to bear the sacrifice. Nowadays, people find it difficult to stand in line for God's plan. People follow directions and take action on their own. They are helpless because they rely solely on their understanding rather than putting all their faith in the Lord. But Samuel was a special prophet. This plan will focus on Samuel's four specific characteristics as an outstanding God-fearing prophet.

Samuel's first distinguishing feature was his constant readiness to serve God. Our schedule must be determined by God rather than by us when we choose to labor for the Lord. Because they inform God on how to conduct their life, many individuals fail in their relationships, marriages, ministries, occupations, and companies. He will surely direct your steps if you seek his will in whatever you do. God considers if we are willing to serve him with all of our hearts rather than our education, credentials, physical attractiveness, or family. Since he was a young child, little Samuel had been willing to serve the Lord. When he first heard the call, he not once but three times ran to Eli. God favored him because of this.

Because it costs to seek God, his presence, and his blessing... It involves time, energy, dedication, sacrifice, sanctification, giving up things that are not pleasing to God, taking up our cross every day, intense prayer, fasting, and study of God's word; it is challenging to deny oneself; it is challenging to do not my will but his will. The list is lengthy so I could go on, but I believe these examples are plenty to get your attention and help you get the point I'm trying to make.

Today, if you make yourself available for his work, he will use you in your life. You do not have to be unique, but you have to be available. You're always on the winning side when you value making yourself open to God in your life. The choice is yours.
