Elevate: Raising the Bar for Conversations About Media LiteracySample
There is no limit to the information you can find or the things you can create on the Internet. Whether you spend your time scrolling TikTok or learning something new on YouTube, we have access to a lot. Access can be great, but it can also drag us down. In this verse, Paul is urging us to consider not just what we can do but, instead, what we should do. The things we engage with online have the power to help us, hurt us, or distract us. Before you watch, comment, or create, consider the effect of what you are engaging with on yourself and the world around you. Today, spend some time praying and asking God to help you be intentional about focusing on the things that help you see God at work all around you.
