KIDS: 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer

DAY 20 OF 21

READ: “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.”—Isaiah 1:17 (NIV)

RESPOND: When you see someone in pain, bullied, or put down, what is your first response? Is it to help them, pray for them, and to stand up for them? In today’s Bible verse, God asks us to be there for people, especially those who are hurting. He wants us to ask Him how He would care for them and to ask Him what is the right thing we can do for that person or friend. Perhaps you see someone like that every day. Today, ask God how He can use you to care for them and show them His love.

PRAY: Thank God for allowing me to care for Your people and see their needs. Thank You for the compassion You have for the world and those I get to meet. Please help me today to see who is hurting and how I can show them Your love. I want to honor You and stand up for what is right. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
