Children Can Pray, Too!

DAY 4 OF 7

Day Four - Repentance

Repentance is a long word for sorry, but do we teach children repentance?

To repent, we must first acknowledge that we’ve sinned or gone against God’s will for our life. As a foundation, you can teach your children the Ten Commandments.

For example, one of the commandments says, "thou shall not steal". Once your child learns this commandment, they will have a choice to honor God’s will or create a will of their own!

Every time your child decides to go against God’s will, ensure there are consequences, some big and others small. No matter the size of the consequences, it is crucial for your child to know that God loves them and will also forgive them.

Remember, as parents, we must lead by example! We must show our children God’s standard by how we live so they can have a strong foundation upon which to grow.

About this Plan

Children Can Pray, Too!

The Bible says, train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Prayer is one key area to build up a child. However, many parents do not know where to start or how to go about it. This Bible plan will equip parents with a simple strategy, P.P.R.A.Y, to teach their children to appreciate and value prayer and add it to their daily routine.
