Ramadan: Prayer Guide | Releasing the Light of Christ to the Muslim WorldSample
By Grace, Through Faith
In Islam, they believe that a person’s ability to make it to heaven is firmly dependent on their works. The symbol they use to explain this is a set of scales. All the good things you’ve ever done go on one side, and all the bad things you’ve ever done go on the other. They get into heaven if the “good” outweighs the “bad” when they die. Everyone lives their life not knowing if they have done enough. They can hope, but they cannot know for sure until they die and Allah judges their deeds.
The Bible clearly states that it is not by our works that we are saved. It is by God’s grace; that all those who believe and have faith in Jesus Christ shall be saved. It is the only way. Believers in Jesus can enjoy peace of mind and rest in the surety of it.
Prayer
Lord, I pray for Muslims all across the earth to have a life-changing revelation that they do not have to live in the constant unknown of “have I done enough?”. Help them realize they can step into the security of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. I ask that you make way for messengers of the Gospel to speak Truth into their lives and that their hearts would be softened to receive your Word.
