Joseph’s journey was full of incredible ups and downs. He was given a special coat, declaring him as his father’s favourite which set off his brother’s jealousy towards him. Not an ideal beginning for a life of big dreams. When he shared his dreams from God, that only angered them more and they threw him in a pit. What was intended to harm him, God planned it for good.

Joseph was called upon by the king to interpret his dream. And just as Joseph said, there were seven years where everything was flourishing and everyone had more than enough to eat, then seven years of famine, were it was dry, food didn’t grow and people grew hungry.
