Managing Our Finances
"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19 ESV
You can really tell a lot about people and their hearts when you take a look at their finances. Money should serve to edify you, support God’s Kingdom, and add value to other people. The Bible says that when you are connected to the vine (that is, to Jesus), you will bear fruit (John 15:5). This is true not only in the spiritual arena but in other areas as well, including your finances. When we add value to people’s lives, we bear fruit. There’s a natural energy that happens there. It is God’s law of giving and receiving (Luke 6:38). You will reap a harvest through what you have sown, and when you add value to others, you reap value.
Money is such a good, good thing when it is used in a godly way. Having more than enough to share is a blessing, as it helps us to do the work of God’s Kingdom in the earth. God will take care of you, you are His child and He loves you. As you learn to trust Him more and more in every area, including your finances you will be blessed. God will help you to understand your finances and will help you to understand how to sow your seeds in a way that brings the harvest He intended.
As you are blessed, bless others and you will live the abundant full life that God intended for you to have. Not just material wealth, but you will reap treasures that money cannot buy. You will have the contentment and peace that God has promised you, and you will have every need met. God is so good!
Decide today to manage your money in a way that brings God glory.
