I've been talking with some of friends recently, and the common answer to the question "What are you struggling with right now?" has been depression, anxiety, and fear. The reason I post so much about these topics is because they are SO prevalent in our lives---so prevalent in my own life. I find the Psalms are a great place to go when I don't know what to pray, and so I offer up this prayer for myself and for those struggling with similar things. ""Restore me to the joy of Your salvation, and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me."" Restore me to the joy of knowing You. Grant me a willing spirit to do what You have for me. Sustain me when all I can see is the fear and depression and anxiety that so easily blinds me.
