God’s Promises for SolopreneursSample
Promise: God Will Fulfill Every Need
To want something and to need something are two different things.
My son doesn’t always want to go to bed but he definitely needs sleep, whether he likes it or not. Also, he is just a toddler, which kind of justifies his behavior.
I, however, can act the same way. I can get my wants and needs mixed up. For example, I have prayed many times to reach more people for our events, earn more money, or educate myself with a specific, not-yet-affordable course. It’s not wrong to pray for these things, but at that time, God didn’t provide.
If God is the provider, then why didn’t He? It turns out this was a matter of me wanting something that God didn’t think I needed. God is indeed the provider, but He only fulfills our needs, not our wants.
The only way to tackle this confusion is to align with God’s will (and not the world’s) every day by tuning into what He says. Praying and tapping into His Word are essential daily activities.
There’s no doubt that God wants what’s good for you and that He will fulfill every need as He promised. You just have to become more Christlike to understand what He thinks your needs are.
Let me rephrase that to help you see how amazing this promise is: God fulfills all of your needs, which means you lack nothing.
That is a promise that will comfort any solopreneur in any phase of his or her business!
Blessings,
Jane
