Everyday Life in Revelation Part 8: Certain VictorySample

In today’s reading, we have a direct mandate for today. We can apply this to our life right now. Revelation 14:12 calls all believers to endure. We must keep moving forward in our faith. We are to keep trusting God, no matter what life throws at us.
We live by faith and not by sight. We need these calls, these mandates to keep moving forward. You need these calls to keep moving forward. To be sure, this world wears on every believer. We experience God’s goodness in life and His grace and blessings, but we also experience much suffering and testing. In the middle of our struggles and ever-present temptations, we can find ourselves thinking that we would be better off without Christ. In these moments, we need God’s Spirit to whisper in our ears words that help us endure in the faith.
Knowing that Jesus has already conquered His and our enemies empowers us to endure. We are not on the losing side. And one day, we will celebrate the eternal victory of our King and Savior. That is why we press forward!
