Sometimes, we can think that the Bible is straight-up hard to read and difficult to understand. We can think that it’s not relevant for us as teenagers. Yet when we get closer to the Bible and learn how to read it, we quickly realize that this isn’t just any old book. The Bible is the living word of God.

We know from yesterday that God wants us to hit Him up through prayer - which is lowkey the best thing ever! But it doesn't end there, we know that God wants to speak to us as well - how good! This whole relationship thing we’ve been talking about goes both ways. So how are we supposed to know if God’s speaking to us? Will it be a booming voice from the sky? Will He ‘give me a sign’ on command? Maybe, but probably not.

God speaks to us through the Bible. The Bible is full of people being real and talking to God about their worries, their situations, and their feelings. And guess what? God responds with love, advice, and support! Even though the stories are from thousands of years ago, we can still find ourselves in those stories. We experience all the same emotions as someone living in Jesus’ time would have. God is the GOAT (greatest of all), and He never changes! The God we read about in the Bible is the same God we can have a relationship with today.

The more you read the Bible, the more you’ll see God’s heart for you; what He thinks of you, what He wants for you, and the plans He has for your future. The Bible is God’s gift to us so that we can level up in our relationship with Him - so don’t sleep on the gold that’s in it! Why not ask your leader to teach you how to get into the Word?

And if you're up for it, jot down what you learn from it (even if it's confusing at first) and how it could relate to your life. Trust me, it's epic when you start seeing how God's Word applies to your everyday situation!
