A Kid's Guide To: Knowing God Is Always Good

DAY 5 OF 6

Wherever I Am

This day belongs to the Lord! Let’s celebrate and be glad today.
Psalm 118:24 (CEV)

Maybe your friends are not in your class this year.

Maybe you have so much more work, and you're having way less fun.

Maybe your teacher is just so weird!

Sometimes we just don’t like where we are placed, and it’s hard to be happy about it. Or sometimes we’re having a bad day, and it’s hard to be joyful.

But no matter what, we know God put us here in this place, at this time. And he gave you this day—rainy, shiny, windy, crazy. No matter what kind of day it is, we can always be happy that he saved us from sin. It’s an incredible gift!

So let’s look for the blessings that he gives us each day, like little gifts sent for us to find. And let’s rejoice because of him, even when we don’t feel like it. Believing God is good and that we are saved from sin makes any day better. Let’s focus on our wonderful God!

SPIRITUAL FITNESS TRAINING

Think of things for which you are grateful that start with each of the letters in the word THANKS. Write one thing next to each letter. As you do, thank God out loud!

PRAY

Thank you, Lord, for today. Thank you for saving me and for all the blessings. I’m going to celebrate!

KEEP IT GOING
