Day 3: The Value of Integrity and Fairness

As entrepreneurs, one of the best ways we can point people to Jesus is simply by being honest and fair in our business practices. Proverbs 11:1 and Leviticus 19:35-36 both warn against dishonest practices, highlighting the importance of fairness in business. Proverbs 4:25-27 advises us to stay focused and committed to our paths. Luke 16:10 reminds us that if we're faithful in the small things, we'll be faithful in the bigger things, stressing the importance of honesty in business.

It’s clear this is God’s desire for our businesses, and at the same time, it is really rare in our world today. And so when we just follow God’s guidance, we stand out - kind of like light in the darkness. As a result, we can use our businesses as a way to point people to Jesus! So, as you finish this devotional, strive to build your business on a solid foundation of honesty, fairness, and trust in God.

Let’s Pray:

Dear God, grant me the wisdom to conduct my business with integrity and fairness. May I uphold righteousness in every decision and deal justly with everyone I encounter. Help me reflect Your character in my entrepreneurial journey.
