Deon Kipping - The Overflow DevoSample

Prisoner Of Christ
When dealing with difficult moments in life it is our prayer that God would come to our rescue. At times we are prisoners to stress, depression, even religion. It is amazing that when He rescues us He captures our hearts even more; making us prisoners of Christ. In Ephesians 4, Paul writes “As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”
Being a prisoner of Christ releases you from things like hatred, hurt, pain, stress and locks you into freedom, peace and love. I don’t think the hardest criminal would have a problem being a prisoner to the giver of life. The songs chorus is “Chained to His will, tied to His word, He has my life I am a prisoner of Christ”. I am proud to be a prisoner.
