If you could reset your life, what would you do? What would your life look like if you had the chance to start all over?
People love the new year. It's like we get a whole new chance to remake our lives. We have this opportunity to evaluate what we liked and didn't like from the past year, and make decisions on things we want to change for the following year.
It's kind of like a replay or a redo.
We get a chance to kind of recalibrate our lives, sort of like a GPS does when we travel. Sometimes there is emotional traffic or relationship construction in our lives that needs to be sorted out.
One of the greatest aspects of being a Christian is knowing that when we give our hearts to Jesus, He makes us new. He puts our lives on a new path. He is there to provide us with guidance and direction for the everyday obstacles and challenges we face.
Do you know what else "being new" means? It means God is working all of our bad habits out of our hearts and minds, and is in the process of installing new habits for this new life we're going to live. It's kind of like getting a new software update on your phone, or a new operating system on your computer.
Sure, it's scary to make a change — but once we do, everything just seems to work so much better and makes so much more sense.

About this Plan
At the end of each year, we have the chance to reflect on everything that's happened and all of the people around us. There’s so much we can be thankful for every year — even if things didn’t work exactly how we planned. God has given us so much, and the birth of Jesus is a great way to focus on all of the gifts we’ve received this year.
