Next Level Faith: A 4-Day Family Bible Reading PlanSample

Have you ever tried to find something in the dark? Maybe you dropped a book before going to bed or a flashlight while playing out in the dark. How did it go when you tried to find it? Maybe you stumbled or bumped into something. Maybe you stubbed your toe or made a big mess in the process! The Bible tells us when we try to do things without God in our life, it can be dark and messy. Jesus helps us to see things differently, even when we may not know how they will turn out—that is having faith! Spending time reading the Bible can help us grow our faith and be ready to see, even when things seem dark.
1. When have you been in the dark? How did you feel when you couldn’t see?
2. Is there a story in the Bible that you can share with others?
Challenge:Write down Romans 10:17 on a piece of paper and take turns hiding it. Play “hot and cold” until someone finds it; then read it together as a reminder that Jesus helps us see things differently!

About this Plan

Faith is trusting what you can’t see because of what you can see. Over the next four days, you and your family will read the Bible together and do a daily challenge to take your faith to the next level.
