“Nailed It”
Jesus’ kin brought Him down from the cross. These siblings in Christ cared for his body like He would soon their souls. However, when they removed the last of man-made nails from him, God’s family wasn’t just fulfilling the love He told. They were releasing our Savior to get up.
The authorities, meanwhile, were presumptuous and inactive. Sitting smugly, they too were hanged; hung on the conspiracy they thought had dispatched Him. Little did they know how accurate their assessment. When the ignorant megaphoned, It is done!, their Author punctuated the End. With a stentorian announcement, the world was washed over and no less, from speakers refusing the confession. The enemies of God had just dispatched love’s message!
So audible was the fall of the dark that day, Light inaudibly rang with new strength. Quiet rocks rolled away. Denying persons pressed in. God’s truth rang glory and when it did, the message could not have been louder. Here, I AM.
