Don’t give up your hope in God. No matter what happens in your life, you can put your hope in God and have joy. Life isn’t perfect, things go wrong, we get upset, sick, sad, worried. Hold onto hope! Trust in God! Have joy! No matter what happens living with hope brings joy. There are people who are facing the most terrible circumstances yet their hope in God brings joy. Even Jesus faced tough times and He looked through the pain of the present to see the joy ahead. He was on the cross, being beaten and facing death, even still He never lost hope. He knew the joy that was to come.

Joy is more than just feeling happy. We might be happy when someone gives us a present or when it’s a sunny day and everything is okay. It’s when things don’t go as planned and everything around us might be falling apart and we remain joyful in God in spite of our circumstances. Joy that comes from living with hope in God doesn’t disappear at the first sign of trouble. May the God of all hope bring you joy!
