Joy and Responsibility

As a father, you get to experience the greatest joy that God provides when you hold your child for the first time.

If you are blessed with more than one child, you know that feeling only multiplies. Fatherhood also comes with the largest responsibility we have on this side of heaven. God has placed another person made in His image to your care. Proverbs 23:24 tells us to rejoice and pass down wisdom to our children.

Stand up and embrace the privilege it is to be a father. Too many families are floundering around without a strong dad at the helm. Hit this head on and treat each day as a gift to lead and show your children the wonderful things God has revealed to you.

Question to Consider

1. How are you modeling Biblical truths for your children?
2. Could your children honestly answer that you are the same man throughout the week that you are on Sunday?
3. What actions will you commit to today to be the leader God intends you to be?
